Be honest and tell it like it is.

As a Realtor it can be uncomfortable, but I believe in telling it like it is, and sometimes lose business because of it, but I know no other way.

Q&A – an interview with Ed

Q: Ed, tell me – what do you believe?

A: Give 110% in everything you do, be honest and upfront with people, treat them with respect like you would want to be treated yourself, always look for the best in people, don’t be afraid to try new things, and that if you help others reach their goals, they will always remember you!

Q: So Ed, you have been a top producing Realtor since 1990. What motivates you year after year to produce amazing results?

A: It may be the competitive nature about me. I grew up in Northern Virginia, and relished the competition and camaraderie that high school sports promoted. I am very goal oriented, and find it extremely satisfying to help my clients reach their goals, whatever they might be.

Q: Speaking of competition, what differentiates you from your competition?

A: There are so many Realtors, and everyone seems to have a friend or relative in the business. I learned early on, not to do business with friends and family. No real estate transaction is worth losing an important relationship. In business my client’s interests come first, and I’m always looking for a way to help them reach their goals. With me, there is no question they have the edge.

Q: Ed, having been a Realtor for over 15 years, tell me a little bit about your credentials?

A: Well, Credentials are nice but, when it comes right down to it, every buyer and seller wants to know, “what’s in it for me?” And you cannot discount that. I am a member of the NVAR Multimillion Dollar Club, the Remax Hall of Fame Club, and have been as high as #3 producer of all Remax Agents in the Mid Atlantic States. I earned the GRI, CRS, ABR and many other important Realtor designations, and routinely attend continuing education classes and real estate training events, in order to gain the knowledge and expertise to best represent my seller and buyer clients.

Q: Fair enough, can you tell us what the buyers and sellers can expect working with Ed and team?

A: I have a drawer full of thank you cards from my clients over the years, which really means the world to me, and I would be happy to share them with you, but I will try to sum it up. My client’s best interest always comes first, and I am 100% dedicated to that. I always strive make buying and selling a home an enjoyable experience…I provide Peace of mind for my clients.

Q: Ed, inspite of your casual approach (By the way, what’s up with the white sneakers?), you consistently performed at the very top of your industry nationally. What else contributes to that?

A: I feel it’s because I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty. I have great resources behind me, but I personally work with my clients every step of the way. Clients take comfort in this fact, and with me it is “what you see is what you get “. And to answer your question, I am always on the go, whether it is walking the lot at a seller’s home or showing buyers around a new home construction site, I need to keep my feet comfortable.
